The other day I was strolling through Chicago's Millennium Park, and like many who pass through that area, my attention was immediately caught by the metallic Cloud Gate Sculpture. As I stared at "The Bean," one thing crossed my mind: "I wonder if I could scan this thing?" Curiosity had gotten me, so I decided to reach to the public so I could see what they would think. Could the RTC360 scan this obsolete object?
Because of the structure's reflective surface, the overall consensus was that it would be impossible to scan the object. It had really become a battle of the RTC360 scanning the impossible. However, the results proved to be a bit shocking, inhibiting both ups and downs in the scan.
"I feel like we learned a lot and have gathered a great deal of good information."
Although some of the data was not captured, the data that was captured showcased pristine results, making this an overall win for the RTC360. Conclusively, I feel like we learned a lot and have gathered a great deal of good information.
Thanks for joining us on this endeavor! This was a fun experiment and we look forward to finding more structures that are considered impossible to scan. See you next time!
